Yes, 1900 Ocean welcomes up to two pets per apartment home. Breed and weight restrictions apply, so it's a good idea to check with the leasing team to confirm your pet qualifies before you apply. With the beach and Ocean Blvd right outside, it's an easy spot for dog owners.
1900 Ocean charges a refundable $1,000 pet deposit per pet, due at lease signing, plus $75 per month in pet rent per pet. There's no separate one-time pet fee on top of that. Budgeting for both the deposit and monthly rent upfront helps avoid surprises at move-in.
Parking at 1900 Ocean is assigned and rented separately from your apartment: outdoor gated spaces run $125/month, indoor garage $150/month, tandem $225/month, and reserved EV-charging spaces $350/month. Parking isn't included in rent, and there's no dedicated guest parking, visitors typically use street parking along Ocean Blvd. EV drivers should ask about availability early, since charging spaces are limited.
Utilities are not included at 1900 Ocean. Residents cover gas, electric, water, trash, sewer, cable, and internet, billed monthly through Conservice (the invoice usually lands between the 22nd and 25th). Factoring these in alongside parking and pet costs gives you a realistic monthly total for beachfront living in Long Beach.
Plan for a $62.02 application fee per adult plus a security deposit, which runs $750 for a studio, $1,000 for a one-bedroom, and $3,000 for two-, three-, and four-bedroom homes (on approved credit). The application fee is non-refundable and due at submission. Renters insurance is also required, you can use the on-site Damage Waiver Program at $14/month or bring your own qualifying policy.
Household income generally needs to be at least 2.7 times the monthly rent at 1900 Ocean. If you earn at least 2 times the rent, you may still qualify through a deposit-alternative program via The Guarantors. The community accepts Section 8 housing vouchers but does not accept traditional guarantors at this time.
